Replace “Idiot” with “Christian”. To err is human, to forgive is to Define.

Any man can make mistakes, but only an idiot persists in his error.

- Cicero (106–43 BC)

I’m Not Calling you Idiots, You Are Sheep, Stay Within Your Flock and Flourish!

Replace “Idiot” with “Christian”. To err is human, to forgive is to Define.

Inspired by Cicero (106–43 BC)’s quote, “Any man can make mistakes, but only an idiot persists in his error.”. The titled responsion is cultish in origin. I’m just saying and that’s no apology.

The titled responsion on this baaadde boy comes with plenty of vitamin BC and E. Directed towards the meme, the orientation of this is ideal. The Christian brand of forgiveness defines the divine nature of religious congregations. Is that a German shepard or a cicero?

This particular historical thought trajectory anchors with Cicero (106–43 BC), moves on to Ezra Pound (1885–1972) and Martin Heidegger (1889–1976), then on to our contemporary Thomas Sowell (1930-present).

Considering the other responsions, with matching memes at play here, Cicero condemns the man (idiot) stuck on behavioral repeat. Mistakes will be made, Christian branded forgiveness originated before the fiction of Christ. Those are my opinions. What are yours?

Ezra Pound is another story worth making new with his quote, “Real education must ultimately be limited to men who insist on knowing, the rest is mere sheep-herding.” This is the real problem of knowledge; open ended. At a similar time, yet different place, Martin Heidegger created his own wonderland and philosophical rabbit holes among the timbers of Todtnauberg. I sense a bit of jealousy in Heidegger’s theologistic non-ethics. Contradictions come to term and then repeat themselves in möbius. Heidegger is a king of thought no doubt. Thomas Sowell brings us to awareness. Categorized in a continuum, the limitations are self-evident, promoted and propagated, the hierarchies of meaning stratify our fractured specialist culture. Interdisciplinary studies in addition to S.T.E.M. are surfacing as a pragmatic orientation forward. Towards sometime, albeit a material future, idealized and fictionalized only in memory. Is this the ideal of the atheist?

It wouldn’t hurt to mention something about the safety of the bell curve and regression towards the mean. Taleb’s trampoline?

Knack for Tact

Inspired by Isaac Newton (1643–1727)’s quote, “This most beautiful system of the sun, planets and comets, could only proceed from the counsel and dominion of an intelligent and powerful Being.” . The titled responsion is “Knack for Tact”. What follows is subject to revision, do you have any suggestions?

Like the Idiot?

Inspired by Fyodor Dostoevsky (1821–1881)’s quote, “We sometimes encounter people, even perfect strangers, who begin to interest us at first sight, somehow suddenly, all at once, before a word has been spoken.”. The titled responsion is “Like the Idiot?”. What follows is subject to revision, do you have any suggestions?

Regression is Mean

Inspired by Ezra Pound (1885–1972)’s quote, “Real education must ultimately be limited to men who insist on knowing, the rest is mere sheep-herding”. The titled responsion is…

In relation to the mean-ness of regression, we have correlated this responsion title with Herbert Marcuse, Henry David Thoreau, and now Ezra Pound. I must expand this into the trampoline-tantrums of Nassim Nicholas Taleb (Steven Pinker describes as belligerence).

I find it fascinating that the myelination of this dendritic projection offers a synaptic transfer of what it is to be mean. The Regression is Mean responsion (title of this article) is verbatim an exact copy (one of three). Considering the biological-like ontology of the planksip blog, a connection like this digital adaptation is worthy of further myelination. Measure, test, rinse, repeat.

Towards the sheep, {please could you finish this for me?}

Enough with the Shepard Analogies Already!

Inspired by Martin Heidegger (1889–1976)’s quote, “The human being is not the lord of beings, but the shepherd of Being”. The titled responsion is…

How do you change your shepherd if she is destructive? Cultivated from within, the seed of individuality is planted. Is it not the comfort of your comrades that will elevate your being in a higher forme?
