Planyway Calendar for Trello is great for managing appointments and tasks but that’s not all it can do. Our timeline view makes a simple but powerful project management tool for you. In this article, I want to show you how to use the timeline in Planyway calendar to schedule your project.

For example, you have a small project for two weeks or a sprint in an agile project. There are three simple steps how to create a timeline for such projects using Planyway calendar.

1. Make project scope

Drag and drop all the tasks for your project or sprint to the first day.

2. Estimate tasks

Estimate how many days you want to spend on each task and if it is more than one day, resize your tasks to make them two-days, three-days or longer.

3. Optimize timeline

Now optimize your timeline by dragging tasks in the order you plan to do them. Simply plan more or less parallel or multiple tasks in a day according to your team and project.

Voilà, you have a timeline for your project or sprint that you can monitor and change during its execution process.
