Teams and Workspaces FAQ

We are making Plasmic even better for teams! Previously, all Plasmic projects were owned by an individual account, who had to share individual projects to each collaborator they wanted to work with. With teams, creating and sharing projects between teammates have never been easier, now with project ownership rooted in the team. With this foundation we will begin to roll out new premium features only available to teams, including shared workspaces, team roles/permissions, and other new premium features.

When should I expect to see the changes?

Premium features will begin to roll out to select tiers over the coming months. If there is something you’re excited to see, join our Slack community and let us know in #ideas.

What happens to my existing projects?

Nothing! With our pricing structure, you will always be able to create unlimited projects with unlimited publishes and syncs. Your work will always be yours to keep. You can choose to move your projects into teams and workspaces at any time.

What happens to my existing collaborators?

Over the next few months, we will gradually begin to enforce sharing limits. In particular, free tier projects will be limited to 3 editors per project (and unlimited viewers). If you already have projects that have shares beyond the allowed limits, we will leave these shares untouched. However, subsequent shares may require you first upgrade to the appropriate tier.

What happens to my existing version history?

We will begin to enforce a limited version history for projects (30 days for free tier and 90 days for self-service plans). This affects which versions you can view in your history, but will not break any dependencies if you use cross-project imports. If you need a longer version history, please contact us to discuss your specific needs.

What if none of these pricing tiers work for my specific use case?

That is no problem at all! We recognize that Plasmic is used in many different ways. Please contact us here and our sales team will reach out to help tailor a solution for your needs.
