On July 17, from 6.30pm, Paris Aéroport will be bringing together the biggest names in the French Touch for an exceptional concert featuring AIR, Phoenix, Etienne de Crécy, Inès Mélia, Benjamin Diamond B2B Alan Braxe, Izzy Lindqwister.

This unique concert, which will welcome some 2,000 music fans, will transform the roof of Terminal 1 at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport into an open-air concert hall, becoming the roof of the world for a memorable evening of French-style electro music.

Just a few days before the opening of the world’s biggest sporting event, this concert will mark the role of the country’s main airport as a gateway to the world in France, and a participant in France’s cultural influence since its inauguration 50 years ago.

Terminal 1 is much more than just a concert. It’s an unforgettable experience, a celebration of French culture and a tribute to the art and music that have shaped the global electro scene.

For years, concerts in parisian airports have transformed these venues into veritable cultural stages, offering passengers and visitors unparalleled musical experiences.

The importance of music in Paris airports is nothing new. Since 2015, Paris Aéroport, the Groupe ADP’ passenger brand for Paris airports — Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly -, has been actively supporting young musical creation and France’s cultural wealth by organizing concerts and film shoots in unexpected airport locations. With Paris Aéroport, culture and art are part of the journey, giving rise to numerous collaborations with young French artists.

Like its recent collaborations with Pangea, Sébastien Preschoux, Léo Caillard and Mourad Merzouki, Paris Aéroport is pursuing its commitment to offering travelers the very best of French culture. From Rone in 2015 in the boarding lounge of Terminal 2E to Metronomy in the baggage reclaim area, via performances by Nicolas Godin, Tale Of Us or recently Lang Lang, music always finds a favorable echo in Paris airports. Terminal 1 continues this tradition by opening up the roof of the airport’s first terminal for a unique event.

The event, organized alongside Amazon Music, will be streamed live on the global Amazon Music channel on Twitch, and Prime Video. The livestream will allow fans around the world to tune in to the three performances from AIR, Phoenix and Etienne de Crécy, bringing fans closer to the artists they love. Free of charge and accessible by registration, Terminal 1 is a unique opportunity to discover Paris-Charles de Gaulle’s Terminal 1 from an extraordinary angle, vibrating to the rhythm of the iconic melodies of the French Touch.

At a time when all eyes are on France, this exceptional evening will transform the roof of Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport into a global stage, showcasing French elegance and innovation. Terminal1 promises to be a historic event, celebrating not only 50 years of excellence, but also the incredible diversity and creativity of French music as France prepares to welcome the world.
