Feed.fm, the leading business-to-business music streaming platform, today announced the expansion of its licensing to Canada, Mexico, and Australia.

The expansion gives Feed.fm customers the ability to stream major label hit music outside the US to ensure a consistent global experience for their users. The platform also includes developer toolkits and a world-class team of DJs to curate music for their apps.

Rights societies in Australia, Canada and Mexico including CMRRA, Re:Sound, Connect, PPCA, APRA AMCOS, SACM, and Somexfon, have all partnered with Feed.fm to enable better music experiences in apps, games, connected devices, and AR/VR.

In 2022, Feed.fm powered more than 750 million song plays for its customers, which includes leading consumer brands such as BODi, Tonal, and Nautilus. Songs streamed by Feed.fm resulted in millions of dollars of incremental revenue for labels, publishers, and rights societies. This international expansion will help increase the total revenue that Feed.fm will generate for the music industry and help leading global brands ensure parity in experience across their entire member base.

Feed.fm is part of a new emerging category of B2B music technology companies designed to modernize how brands license and integrate music to drive business results.

Feed.fm’s end-to-end music licensing and distribution platform provides proven value for brands looking to substantially increase user retention rates and session lengths in any digital experience — from the latest at-home fitness device to mobile apps to hospitality and digital entertainment systems. Developers rely on Feed.fm’s robust set of SDKs and APIs to get apps to market quickly.

“Music discovery is happening everywhere today, from fitness apps to the metaverse. As our customers increasingly look to engage consumers across the globe in a consistent way, they rely on Feed.fm to make international music licensing as seamless as possible,” said Feed Media Group COO Lauren Pufpaf. “We’ve built a thriving business by delivering the right music at the right time to create deeply engaging listener experiences, while diligently working with the industry to identify new sources of revenue for their artists.
