ONErpm Innovates with Digital Strategy Department

ONErpm announced the launch of its Digital Strategy Department, which provides artists a path to grow their social audience and maximize revenue. The department will offer artists a one-on-one social media strategy in order to guide them on the best ways to amplify their message and obtain new ways to engage with fans and increase monetization. This focused strategy on socials and short-form content means no money will be left on the table and growth will be maximized.

The ONErpm Digital Strategy team ensures artists are reaching their greatest potential, boosting the possibilities to reach fans who are eager to discover and consume new music.

Casey Childers, a veteran in the business and a long-time employee at ONErpm, has been promoted to lead the Digital Strategy department based on her exceptional performance with artists in the digital space. Located in Nashville, Casey was most recently Senior Project Manager where she was the central marketing strategist for artists that include Chri$tian Gate$, Jordi, PLVTINUM, Taylor Acorn, Elohim, and Against the Current. She will report to ONErpm’s Head of US Marketing Jenna LoMonaco.

We aim to continue to not only provide transparent and innovative technology to ONErpm’s artists but also focus on true Artist Development by a team of dedicated experts.”

In recent years, social media has proven to be a key piece of music discovery and revenue. Music consumption via social platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube makes up 32% of all music consumption with a billion people now using short-form video platforms around the world, around three times the global audience of DSPs. The rise of short-form video content has completely changed the way fans consume and discover new music.

Simply put, posting on social media no longer works, you must be immersed within the culture of short-form video. Artists and content creators need a deep understanding of how to utilize each platform to best engage their current fans and new fans alike. In 2022, ONErpm executed a trial run for 15 targeted artists in various genres to grow their YouTube revenue based on best practices and artist participation.

A key focus was not only on the fan relationships but also forming a direct strategy on how to best use the platforms as a means to generate more revenue. At the end of the 3-month experiment, all artists who completed the program saw a 100% increase in their Youtube revenue. This model is what ONErpm uses with their artists to ensure that the digital strategy is being optimized to the fullest extent possible.
