PEAR Health Labs has partnered with Feed.fm to elevate Aaptiv users’ wellness journeys by incorporating original music that follows scientifically proven methods to promote relaxation and meditation states.

A pioneer in holistic wellness, PEAR Health Labs offers yoga and meditation alongside running, boxing and other workouts in its fitness app. With the guidance of Dr. Daniel Bowling, a neuroscientist and leading biomusicology expert from Stanford University, Feed.fm developed Feed Originals, an original music catalog rooted in science and designed to deliver high-quality soundtracks to help end users achieve wellness outcomes like sleep, focus and relaxation.

Key highlights of the partnership include the following:

Science-backed music: Feed.fm worked under the guidance of Dr. Bowling and professor Costas Karageorghis of Brunel University London to define musical parameters for a wide variety of wellness outcomes — from sleep and relaxation to exercise and fitness.

Flexibility and customization: Feed.fm’s unified music system allows users to select from various music stations custom-curated for Aaptiv, ensuring a dynamic and engaging user experience.

“We are thrilled to partner with Feed.fm to integrate science-backed music into the Aaptiv platform,” said Jason Griesenauer, chief marketing officer of PEAR Health Labs. “This collaboration helps further our mission and longstanding commitment to providing users with personalized, holistic and immersive health and wellness experiences, further solidifying Aaptiv’s position as a leader in the fitness industry.”

The Aaptiv solution has long been recognized for innovating the fitness landscape, focusing on audio and video experiences that effectively engage users. Aaptiv app activity already shows users increasingly selecting the new, scientifically driven “Meditation” mix to help boost physical and mental health outcomes, indicating a strong demand for outcome-aligned music experiences.

“PEAR was not only an early adopter of our Feed.fm music services but also one of the first to embrace Feed Originals — a collection of original, science-backed music purposely created for wellness activities, such as meditation,” says Lauren Pufpaf, president, COO and co-founder of Feed Media Group.

PEAR Health Labs and Feed.fm remain committed to enhancing the wellness experience through continued innovation and collaboration, reaffirming their shared vision of empowering individuals on their journey toward holistic wellness.
