UNIFI Music Sets the Stage for 2025
Since 2020, UNIFI Music (formerly HUDL Music) has become a beacon for indie artists to share their music, visuals, and connect with each other in ways like never before.
With a focus on building artist-focused solutions, some of the key tools in the UNIFI Music arsenal include their Tip Jar feature, unlimited music distribution, and embeddable music players.
Now comes Sasha, UNIFI’s AI-powered platform, designed with a variety of features and services to support artists in their career development.
La’Shion Robinson, UNIFI Music CEO and founder, dropped by recently to give us a quick update on how the all-new UNIFI Music platform is preparing for an exciting 2025.
— — This year has been all about making the big rebrand from HUDL Music to UNIFI Music.
Now that the rebranding is complete and things are settling in with the new vision you have for the company, how are you thinking about 2025? Without giving too much away, how are you planning and strategizing for 2025 and the first year officially as UNIFI Music?
Lashion Robinson: This past month of October we got the marketing engines back going to create brand awareness of UNIFI Music and our vision to the music community.
We will continue this awareness campaign over the next several months to educate music creators about our AI Artist Manager Sasha.
For 2025, UNIFI Music will focus on growth and building relationships with other music brands to support artists from 0–5 stage of the career.
— — There’s plenty of great features UNIFI Music offers to the music community. One of which is the TipJar. Can you expand a little on what this feature provides artists who are part of the UNIFI family?
Lashion Robinson: Tip Jar is probably one of the most important features outside of our AI Artist Manager Sasha because it allows artists to raise contributions from fans and other artists alike.
Artists inside the UNIFI Music platform could really benefit from fan engagement which could result in unlimited fund raising for artists that UNIFI Music doesn’t take proceeds from.
— — With an exciting 2025 on deck, what’s your overriding message to artists out there looking to take that next step, to connect with a robust platform like UNIFI to harness music tech and business creativity under one roof on their road to success?
Lashion Robinson: There’s a lot noise out there right now, but my message to artists for 2025 is to take time to learn the business and what platforms truly provide you benefits and value versus companies that make false promises of making you the next superstar and charging you for tools that you will never utilize.
UNIFI Music is the destination for new 0–5 stage artists that want a platform that provides centralized tools such as community, Tip Jar, unlimited distribution and artist management all in one place without the need to keep up with 12 different platforms to get their music career started.
