Axie Infinity Launched PVP Arena Season 6

Sky Mavis has launched PVP Arena Season 6 for their tactical battle game Axie Infinity, and in addition they reintroduced DAI as one of the rewards. A total of 1500 dollars worth of DAI will be distributed to the players over the coming two weeks. The studio announced season 6 on Monday.

The studio announced that 25 percent will go to the top 50 players, while the remaining 1125 DAI will be distributed at random to players who win online PVP battles. Within the game players can win Small Love Potions for winning matches, and DAI coin. Players will need to win 1000 DAI coin to receive 1 DAI.

Besides announcing Season 6 the developers of Axie Infinity also made several small changes to the gameplay. They for example gave a class bonus to Dusk, Dawn and Mech characters. In addition the changed the way the critical strike formula works.

Major updates coming

The introduction of a sixth season is just a small thing compared with what’s coming. Over the weekend the studio revealed their plans for virtual land. Landowners will be able to collect resources from their virtual land, decorate it with structures and battle enemies on them.

Sky Mavis is adding all kinds of elements to give people to ability to personalize their virtual land. Items from the land sale can also be placed on the map, think about plushies, plants and statues. Because of the perspective, the team has been recreating the Axies from an isometric point of view.

Players will be able to travel to different areas. They will need backpacks to acquire resources outside of their own lands. In addition the team is thinking about a crafting system, allowing players to create items from their gathered resources.
