In this newsletter, we share the latest information on the Ascenders Minigame, summarise the latest community competitions, and announce how to participate in two new challenges.

Did Someone Say Easter Egg Hunt?

In a bit of community fun, Ascenders released a limited-time Easter version of the Combat Challenge Minigame.

The Minigame was transformed with rainbows, colourful environments, and all characters wearing bunny ears.

Fifty players who found and collected all 20 hidden Easter eggs within a single run and created engaging content from the special event were rewarded with up to 6,000 $AGC each.

Lights, Camera, Action!

The Ascenders community channelled their inner Artscenders in our Action Screenshot Challenge.

The goal was to create the most creative, captivating, in-game screenshot of the original Combat Challenge mode. Sixty-four exceptional images were selected by the Ascenders team and matched up against one another in a single-elimination bracket tournament. A community vote purely decided the results of each stage on the Ascenders Discord.

We had a phenomenal turnout of hundreds of community members voting on each match-up, with the Final Vote coming down to a mere 23 vote difference.

All participants were rewarded with tokens, with the champion receiving 8,000 $AGC.

Ascenders X GuildFi Survival Challenge

We are happy to announce that our partners at GuildFi are hosting the upcoming Ascenders Minigame challenge. The Survival Challenge will put players in control of the smaller robot, a foe now turned friend, who we used to battle against in the original game mode.

In a twist on the Combat Challenge, this time around, players will have to test their combat skills by surviving waves of attacks from intimidating human characters.

Get Some Alpha

Active participation in the Ascenders community is always rewarded. The Ascenders Alpha initiative rewards the most helpful and knowledgable community members for content that educates others about Ascenders.

Players are eligible to win a stake in the 50,000 AGC Alpha Ascenders Prize Pool when they share knowledge of Ascenders with the broader crypto community. Ascenders community members can create eligible content in any form they are comfortable with: writing helpful alpha threads on what’s coming for Ascenders, streaming their gameplay on the Ascenders Discord, and creating Youtube videos showcasing the best high score tactics or gameplay tips for the Ascenders Combat Challenge Minigame.

You can submit your alpha content by simply tagging @PlayAscenders and #AscendersAlpha in your Twitter post. The Alpha Ascenders contest will run until Sunday, 15th of May, 11:59 PM PST.
