Big Time: Airdrop Program Explained

When we announced our game economy in November, we also announced Big Time’s first airdrop program. This airdrop program is point-based, where we calculate points based on an account’s Big Time Collectibles and their gameplay. The more points an account has the higher the airdrop reward that account can receive.

This article aims to dive deeper into the Airdrop Program and shed some light on some of the critical features and implementations of the airdrop system.

What will be Airdropped?

The upcoming airdrops will include a total of 108,000 Utility Collectibles of various rarities. $TIME tokens are also included, but the tokens will be airdropped in the later stages.

We will bundle these Utility Collectibles in the form of Gift Mystery Boxes. Here is the info for these boxes:

When will the Airdrops happen?

As mentioned, the first airdrop will be in February of 2023 and airdrops will occur once every month going forward, until the reward quantity is depleted.

How can I be eligible for the Airdrop?

To be eligible for the first month of the airdrop, you must own at least one Big Time Collectible (SPACE, Mystery Box, Cosmetic, .etc.). Being eligible does not guarantee an airdrop reward as there are a limited number of rewards each month. The allocation per account will depend on the points calculated given the account’s held Big Time Collectibles and game play activities.

To be eligible beyond Month 1(Month 2, 3, 4..etc.), you must play the game at least once during that month.

The more you play Big Time and the more Big Time Collectibles you own, the more points you will get, making you eligible for higher rewards during that month.

Future plans for the Binance Postcards?

Due to the technical nature of the Binance postcards, we will not be able to include them in the initial airdrop waves since we require a migration mechanism to move the postcards or a representation of them to Open loot.

With that said, Big Time’s Binance postcard holders have been with us since the early stages, which is why we will be creating a unique reward program for them that will take place during the redemption of the postcards. We will reveal more info on that later on.
