Decorations Cracked Hourglass Boost

Placing decorations in your SPACE will now increase the chance of spawning higher rarity cracked hourglasses as well as a higher quantity of them. There is no cap on the number of decorations per SPACE; however, the benefits will diminish as you add more decorations to the SPACE. There are quite a few axes to explore with decoration placement so enjoy some new game mechanics to experiment with!

Cracked hourglasses were always intended to be an added bonus for an active space, not the primary reason for placing a lot of SPACE (most of which is never active) in your Personal Metaverse. This change aims to reinforce that idea, while also providing extra utility for decoration NFTs.

Remember, a decorated SPACE is a happy SPACE!

Value Adjustment for Dismantling

This change is designed to achieve two primary objectives: Firstly, to enhance the value derived from dismantling higher rarity cracked hourglasses, and secondly, to adjust the dismantling duration so that the token-per-hour value increases progressively with the rarity of the hourglass. Please note existing Cracked Hourglasses will be dismantled at the new values.

While the number of tokens generated from Common Cracked Hourglasses has been reduced, we have also decreased their dismantling time to preserve a similar token-per-hour ratio. Additionally, the tokens generated from Rare, Epic, and Legendary Cracked Hourglasses have all been increased, further enhancing the value they provide once they spawn in your SPACE.

Cracked Hourglass Spawn Intervals

This update is designed to further enhance the benefits of owning larger and/or higher rarity SPACEs. We are now making Cracked Hourglass spawn intervals dependent on both the size and rarity of your SPACE, moving away from the previous universal approach.

For these balance changes, we are aiming to address the following issues with the current state of cracked hourglass dismantling:

1. Incentivize Dismantlers to engage with various aspects of the economy, rather than staying isolated.
2. Adjust the amount of tokens generated from cracked hourglasses based on the rarities to make sure that higher rarity Cracked hourglasses are sought after.
3. Adjust the dismantling time so that it’s more manageable and does not keep your time warden occupied for a very long time.
4. Further boost the benefits of owning higher rarity and larger SPACEs when it comes to Cracked Hourglass spawning.

We believe these changes will enrich your gameplay experience and foster a more dynamic and rewarding environment for all users.
