The Chosen of Civitas value offer for today and the future
Today we will be looking at the utility of the Chosen, both the values of today and in-game.
First off, what are the Chosen? The Chosen is a collection of limited character archetypes from different eras and factions. They are limited edition archetypes of Zola, Ninşiku, Bhaltair, K-47, Suong, and M42111N. These Chosen are heroes that have been selected through time and space by a magical Tower. Each with their unique background, story, and utility. They must find ways to work together to build their society.
Now, let’s look at the utility and values the Chosen has today and in-game as a whole. If you previously minted in the free mint or recent mint, you might see an airdropped Ever Fragments NFTs in your collection. As per the previous article on Ever Fragments and Ever Crystals, the fragments are an important factor in creating Crystals to generate land or enhance the land. These Ever Fragments are the passive income owning a Chosen gives. So if you own a Chosen, you’ll be airdropped Ever Fragments periodically, creating a passive income.
You don’t need to own a Chosen to enjoy the game but owning a Chosen comes with special perks; such as cooperation with our partner games and getting early alpha access to Civitas. Certain mini-games and activations around Fragments, Crystals, land, community, and more, will benefit from a Chosen. As players navigate their real-world surroundings with the AR interface, they will encounter different adventures, puzzles, items, and experiences. Some mini-games require specific crafted items to be activated and some certain social geo-location AR games with rewards will only be available if you have a Chosen.
In-game, the Chosen have a unique blessing, and the player can only have one blessing active at a time. The blessing will be activated passively and will stay active until the duration limit is met. Once the blessing ends, it goes into a cooldown period. Each blessing is unique to each Chosen archetype, meaning they won’t all have the same blessings. The Chosen are the only ones that can give blessings to enhance their city subDAO, and their traits are also benefits other players will not receive. Players will be able to seek out items in the marketplace to help shorten the cooldown period or increase the duration of the blessing.
Having a Chosen will give the option of expeditions. Expeditions allow players to obtain resources, NFTs, and other rewards that are usually only found in the AR/geo-location part of the game. However, a Chosen can only go on one expedition at a time; players can send additional characters to increase the chances or quantity of the resources. When not on expeditions, the Chosen will be able to do crafting and other tasks that need to be done on your land. You can own multiple Chosen for more help around your land and gather resources faster.
Another income players get by owning a Chosen is to rent them out through the Job Board. Each Chosen can be rented out to other players for CITI tokens, the in-game currency. When hired from the Job Board, the Chosen can assist in acquiring resources or provide a bonus multiplier. Additionally, like in the real world, the Chosen will gain valuable work experience and improve their utility while working for other players.
The Chosen are the only way to get a head start in Civitas. So make sure you’ve gotten your Chosen and get ready for the high demands created by owning a Chosen.
