DozerFriends, it’s time for change. CryptoDozer is being revamped and made better. With an ultimate focus on gaming.
CryptoDozer has been running for a year, and what a year it’s been. Developing awesome events and player rewards and launching an interconnected experience with DozerBird. It’s been awesome to not only share this with all our players but the wider blockchain gaming world!
While it’s been amazing to see CryptoDozer grow and change, we’ve also been aware of how some people think of it. Looking to ETH and investments primarily, with the gameplay and fun of playing falling down the priority list. We’re gamers at heart and gaming is what we do best. Blockchain represents an awesome amount of potential for gaming and we believe that our expertise in mobile and pc gaming can give all our players the edge in this new gaming world.
But it’s not just us that think that way. With recent investments, into parent company SuperTree, from two of Korea’s leading investment bodies. The Future of PlayDapp, its games, and our PLA token is looking bright.
With all of that in mind, we’ve decided to introduce some fundamental changes. To reshape CryptoDozer into a real game, with awesome gameplay and real compelling collecting and trading.
So, what are these changes?
CryptoDolls are getting a serious change in what they represent in-game. Bronze, Silver and Gold Dolls are going to become a lot more varied, and with that a lot more interesting to collect. With all their new variations they’ll be dropping more frequently. They’ll also be turbocharging your gameplay.

Notice that “compose Fancy button”? In the new version of CryptoDozer, you’ll be able to take these bronze, silver and gold variations of the CryptoDolls and make True NFTs from them. Combining them to unlock Fancy CryptoDolls that will give your game playing a real boost.
Each Fancy that you create will have various Friend Effects stats. Which stack to make you better at the DozerFriends games you play. You can see the kinds of stackable effects that the new Combined Fancy Dolls will have in the below image.
All of these Friend Effects stats are totally variable, so you can create an Alako or a Bram and get different stats each time. Depending on the Bronze, Silver & Gold Doll variations that you combine your chance to get serious Friend Effects will change.
You can see some of the other changes coming to the Dolls of CryptoDozer below. How you’ll be able to collect multiples of each or sell any doll you’ve collected. There’s also a sneak peek of just what kinds of variations there’ll be for each Doll type.
The more you play the more varied the Dolls you collect and the more powerful they are to the core of each DozerFriends game. And the more attractive they are to new players of any of our games game.

When will these changes happen?
CryptoDozer will undergo this exciting change in late April, update planned for April 22nd (subject to change). From then on, all the awesome new things we’re planning will take effect. Making an awesome new gaming experience!
However, there are some important announcements to make before this new style takes effect.
- PLA Token to be listed, we are looking at officially listing our PLA Token in the second half of 2020. With all the changes we are making and new games launching we think that this is going to be a great time to be within the PlayDapp ecosystem.
- From today, March 23rd The current Pass Packs will no longer be on sale. This is effectively the end of that service. A new way to play will launch alongside the improved CryptoDozer.
- Anything you win from now until late April you’ll get in full. Until April 21st (subject to change) If you can reach the exchange point of 0.1ETH you’ll get your ETH. If you collect a 70ETH doll you’ll get your ETH. You earn it and exchange it and it’s yours.
- Keys, coins, and walls will still be purchasable until late April.
- In late April (update planned for April 22nd, subject to change) the Exchange function of CryptoDolls to ETH will cease. Any exchange from now until that date will work just as it used to. With the changes we’re making to CryptoDozer, CryptoDolls will have significant gameplay impact and their value to players will become dramatically higher. With the marketplace launching and true player to player trading, the power of selling what you collect will be far more than reaching an arbitrary point of exchange.
- In late April (update planned for April 22nd, subject to change) the game will reset for all players. Everything you have achieved will be rewarded in the new iteration of CryptoDozer. Your level, any items you own, any unexchanged CryptoDolls, any PLA balance, everything will be converted to PLA*
*An important additional part of the information for number 6.
We are finalizing the exact reward structure. Questions like: How much PLA is one level worth? How much is a key worth? All of this is being decided. On top of this, we want to not just convert it but reward you for your previous work and encourage you to play this new version of CryptoDozer.
We also recognize the time and dedication that our current players have given the game. So when the new version of CryptoDozer launches, any current active player will be given ‘founders packs’. To give you an awesome boost to the start of this new style of game.
For that, we really want to hear your opinion. Got an idea of what would be an awesome exchange rate then tell us, either leave a comment or use our discord or telegram.
However, we really want to assure you that from now until the full lunch of the improved CryptoDozer everything stays the same. Your pass pack will work, you’ll be able to exchange as per normal and those high-value CryptoDolls are still waiting to be collected. Everything stays the same until CryptoDozer is relaunched.
More games are on their way — Making PLA even more valuable!
With all the changes to the way Dolls work in CryptoDozer, it’s important to make a note that they’ll work with other games in the DozerFriends series. We’ve been busily working away on some great new games. Of course, your DozerFriends will be core parts of them, much like how in DozerBird each character has different stats.
We’ll be releasing many more details on these exciting new games as time moves forward. So keep your eyes peeled.
