Hello Knights! We’re back with another Raid guide for you, this time we’ll be giving you all the info you need to dominate the Havok Raid! If you missed out on our previous guide to the Pantahras, Nhumer and Kraken Raids you can read them here:

Havok is a Fire attribute Raid Boss who holds the title of the King of the Jungle. Havok is an imposing force, using his physicality to bully and pummel his enemies into submission. Read on to find out how to dethrone Havok.

Havok Overview

Havok’s first Auto skill, Strike, Knocks Airborne whoever it hits for 1 seconds while dealing Physical damage.

The second Auto, Fire Attack, inflicts Push and Stun for 2 seconds while dealing Physical damage.

Havok’s third Auto, Anger, raises Attack and Attack Speed by 30% for 10 seconds.

Havok’s first passive Forest King boosts Defense by 500% while his second passive Violent Monkey decreases the Attack and Attack Speed of any opponent that hits him with a physical attack by 30% for 10 seconds.

The first two of Havok’s Auto Skills have a form of Crowd Control as an effect. Combined with the sheer Physical power of his attacks this can quickly overwhelm underprepared teams.

When you look at Havok’s stats you can see that Havok has a massive 257,095 HP, 9976 Physical Defense (which gets increased 500% by Havok’s Forest King passive) and 2941 Attack. You’ll also notice his relatively paltry 614 Magic Defense stat. Right off the bat this should tell you that you’re probably going to be outmatched physically and will need to focus on the Magic side of things.

Havok drops Magic, Defense and Speed Runes when you defeat him. Magic Runes are a good starter Rune type for Magic and certain Support Heroes while Defense Runes are less commonly used except on special cases such as Velrooks. Speed Runes are sometimes seen on high-level builds on Heroes where every bit of marginal gain on Attack Speed is crucial such as Healers/Support Heroes or Heroes who have skills that take advantage of increased Attack Speed such as Patricia.

The most effective Heroes in the Havok Raid tend to be 5-star Heroes although there are a few 4-star Heroes who do just as well against Havok.

Recommended Heroes

Magic

Turan, a Water Magic Hero and renowned Raid specialist, is going to be one of the best Heroes to use in the Havok Raid, especially as he’s one of the most easily obtainable Heroes on this list. Turan will be a savior for players who don’t possess the rarer 5-star Water Magic Heroes. You can easily Awaken Turan as well to boost his power even more. Turan is a heavy hitter with HP% bonus damage and various useful effects on his skills, which helps greatly against Raid Bosses and immediately makes him a top-tier Hero to use against Havok.

Alexis is one of the very best Heroes in the game due to the unmatched Magic DPS he provides, and combined with his attribute advantage, is going to be a fantastic damage dealer for you in the Havok Raid. Alexis also has the added bonus of having an Inability Effect Resistance +30% Passive. Combined with Warrior runes, Alexis can largely shrug off attacks with Crowd Control effects and fight uninterrupted. His attacks deal a huge amount of damage with many side-effects such as guaranteed Critical Hits, Time Bombs, Damage Weapon and Slowdown. Alexis has the highest usage rate amongst all Heroes on the Level 13 Havok Raid which is testament to how good he is.

Elheim is a Water Magic Hero who can be described as like Turan on steroids. Elheim is a specialist in Raids with powerful HP% attacks with a number of Harmful Effects such as Poison on multiple skills, which will help you quickly reduce Havok’s HP.

Zenon is the archetypal Glass Cannon in Along with the Gods, he can deal a ton of damage against Havok and other enemies but his frailty can be a hindrance, especially as the optimal build for him emphasizes raising his Critical Hit rate with his Rune selection. If you choose to use him, surround him with Heroes who can support him and keep him alive as he dishes out damage and inflicts effects on opponents.

Tiat is, unfortunately, largely overshadowed by many of his Water Magic Hero peers such as Alexis, Elheim, Zenon and Oliver. However, Tiat is still a great Hero in his own right and can be put to great use in the Havok Raid. Tiat still provides relatively comparable damage output to other Water Magic Heroes such as Zenon and has a few other tricks up his sleeves. His Energy Attack skill reduces the enemy’s acquired Energy by 40% while also reducing their Magic Defense by 100%, the latter of which is especially deadly when you pair Tiat with another Magic Hero. In addition, he can install multiple Time Bombs and inflict Burn and Freeze on opponents with his skills.

Tank

Zemer is a Hero you can rely on if you want to succeed in high-level Havok Raids. Not only does he boost the team’s Defense against Havok’s onslaught of powerful Physical Attacks, he also provides complete immunity against Inability Effects for a period of time. Zemer can also inflict the Blind status on Havok which is yet another reason to use him.

You can read more about Zemer here:

Phoenix is one of the most used Heroes in the Havok Raid, due to his own survivability and the protection and buffs he provides to his allies. He provides a Shield for his allies, can reduce enemies’ Attack by 30% for 10 seconds and can inflict Provoke drawing attacks away from his allies and onto himself. You can also consider using Morox as an alternative as he provides shields and Physical Defense buffs to the rest of his team in a similar manner to Phoenix.

Atmos is another Water Tank who serves a similar role to Zemer but with a few differences in their abilities. She provides a general damage shield and Harmful Effect protection whereas Zemer provides a Physical Defense boost and immunity against Inability Effects. Atmos is an outstanding all-round Hero and her skills shine through in the Havok Raid.

Support

Carmen is a great Support Hero who many players will probably have a copy of available to use. She provides a good mix of healing and buffs to her team, she will not only keep your team healthy and protected but also enhance their damage output. Her Wind Melody skill increases the team’s Attack Speed by 30% and Energy acquired by 40%, while her Defensive Melody skill increases the team’s Physical and Magic Defense by 50% each.

Misty is a solid all-round healer and Support Hero who can serve as a key Hero in the Havok Raid with her strong consistent healing. Misty possesses multiple healing skills which should keep your team at a consistently high level of HP throughout the battle. She can also strip opponents of their beneficial effects with her Purify Enemy skill.

Ramia is a superstar in the Havok Raid. Not only is she a powerful Water Support Hero in general but she has a few traits and characteristics which are especially helpful in the Havok Raid. Ramia not only heals and protects her allies against Harmful Effects, she also blocks her opponents from receiving any positive effects. Ramia also has a chance to reduce an opponent’s Attack Power by 30% whenever she’s hit.

Kadus will be a reliable healer and Support against Havok. He possesses several helpful skills and characteristics that will enable him to support the rest of your team during the fight. He has multiple healing skills as well as being able to create a shield over his allies. He can also strip his opponents of their beneficial effects and replace them with Time Bombs instead.

Styx is considered one of the very best Heroes to have in Along with the Gods and the Havok Raid is no exception. Styx will severely hamper Havok’s attacks and damage rate while also healing and buffing your team. His ability to reduce an opponent’s Energy acquisition and strip them of their buffs, as well as block them from gaining any buffs, is extremely helpful. He can also provide a damage reduction shield and has a chance to increase the enemy’s skill cooldown with every attack.

While Divana has an attribute disadvantage against Havok, she still remains a highly effective Hero. She provides healing and a shield which makes herself and all her allies immune from all damage. She also boosts the team’s Attack and Defense. Overall, her kit supports her allies well and helps keep them alive and healthy against Havok.

Strategy to Defeat Havok

Havok’s combination of physical power and Crowd Control can leave unprepared teams dazed and unable to do anything as Havok pummels them to death.

Havok’s Physical Defense is absurdly high so it’s recommended you stick with using Magic Heroes as your main forms of damage and have the rest of your team built with Support and Tank Heroes to support them.

It should be reiterated that Physical attackers are at a severe disadvantage in this Raid. Havok has a huge HP pool with a massive Defense stat, which gets boosted 500% by his first passive, has the Push effect on his second Auto which will push and stun all your Physical attackers, and his Violent Monkey passive reduces Attack and Attack Speed by 30% for all of your Physical attackers. You’re going to be much better off forgetting about your Melee and Ranged Heroes completely against Havok.

Luckily, there’s a plethora of strong Water Magic Heroes in the game available for you to use.

To counteract Havok’s attacks and protect yourself you’re going to want to use Heroes who can raise their own, and the team’s, Physical Defense and protect against Inability Effects. A perfect example of this is Zemer, who does both and will make a fantastic Frontline leader in the Havok Raid. Atmos can achieve the same goal as well. Make sure you have an adequate level of healing from your Support Heroes that can keep up with Havok’s damage output.

You should also look to include heroes such as Styx, Misty or Ramia who can remove an opponent’s beneficial effects and buffs to negate Havok’s third Auto and stop him from increasing his Attack and Attack Speed.

Other helpful effects that you should try to have in your team’s arsenal are Slowdown, Reduce Attack/Weaken and Blind. These effects are going to be a huge help in reducing Havok’s Physical damage output and increasing your chances of survival for victory. Heroes such as Alexis who inflict Slowdown and Weaken are also invaluable. Effects such as Bleed and Poison, inflicted by Heroes such as Elheim and Awakened Magic Heroes, are also helpful against Bosses like Havok with large HP pools.

You can also opt to use Heroes such as Kebron, who Blinds enemies with her Active Skill. Combining these effects should help reduce Havok’s offensive momentum and allow you to increase your survival rate.

A good balanced team composition against Havok, for example, would be a team of one Tank, two Magic Heroes and two Support such as Zemer, Alexis, Elheim, Ramia and Styx.

As always, prioritize ensuring completion over anything else when making a Raid team, there’s nothing worse than leaving an auto-battle run going and coming back to see that you wiped out.

The goal of building a Raid team is building a team strong enough to successfully auto-battle a Raid Boss. If your team isn’t strong enough to auto clear a stage every time without fail then you should add another support Hero for the extra security, or perhaps change your overall team composition around to see if something else works better. If all else fails, just drop down a level in the Havok Raid.

We hope you enjoyed this guide and found it useful. Let us know the roster and strategy you use to fight Havok or any other thoughts you may have in the comments!
