NFTs are coming to Along with the Gods!
Explaining NFTs and how they’ll benefit AWTG players!

The hotly anticipated blockchain upcycling of Along with the Gods, introducing NFT and PlayDapp Marketplace functionality, is right around the corner, and we’re getting close to release after a lot of hard work at PlayDapp.
We know players unfamiliar with blockchain and NFTs may be wondering just what this means, and how it will affect you as players, so we’ll break it down for you!
In fact, we’re so committed to making a smooth transition for all our players, that we will be running an AMA, ready for when the blockchain upcycled version of Along with the Gods: Knights of the Dawn launches. We’ll be dropping more details on this soon, so pay attention to our communities.

What are NFTs?
You may have heard about NFTs during the recent NFT boom, but what exactly are NFTs? NFT stands for non-fungible token. An NFT is a unique digital asset on the blockchain that represents an object like art, music, in-game items, tickets, and videos, and they are generally encoded with the same underlying software as many cryptocurrencies. An NFT allows the buyer to own the original item. Not only that, it contains built-in authentication, which serves as proof of ownership. Gaming is a natural fit for the usage of NFTs.

Along with the Gods blockchain upcycling will allow players to convert certain game items (Max Level Ancient God Heroes and Runes) to NFTs and trade these NFTs on the PlayDapp Polygon Marketplace for cryptocurrency. You can also convert purchased NFTs into game items you can use in Along with the Gods.
How does this benefit Along with the Gods players?
With the new system, you, the player, will be rewarded for playing. Players will now have true ownership over their game items, giving them full utility and control, and a whole new way of gaming to explore.
Both selling and buying NFTs in Along with the Gods will be a huge game-changer for players. Need some Philosopher Runes for PvP but can’t beat the Python Raid just yet? Then head to the Marketplace and pick some up! Need an extra copy of Alexis for Transcendence but not having luck with Summon Scrolls? You can purchase an Alexis NFT from the Marketplace and convert it into a game item you can use in-game!
