PlayDapp becomes the 1st Korean project to be listed on Coinbase, the largest exchange in the U.S.
A significant milestone on PlayDapp’s journey.
PlayDapp, a Korean blockchain game service platform that represents Korea in the global market, announced on the 5th that it was listed on the world’s largest exchange “Coinbase” and “Coinbase pro” a first for a Korean project.
Coinbase is the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States and has successfully listed on the NASDAQ. As a leading exchange, Coinbase selects only carefully vetted projects, with proven performance.
Coinbase officially announced on its official blog on the 5th that users in countries and regions where ‘Coinbase Pro’ and ‘Coinbase’ can be used legally can buy and sell PlayDapp token PLA with US dollars (USD). Trade opened officially from the 5th, with Coinbase users able to purchase and sell PLA through the official Coinbase website (coinbase.com), Android app, and iOS app.

PlayDapp released its first DApp-based games, CryptoDozer and DozerBird in 2019. CryptoDozer beat CryptoKitties in transactions, becoming the most popular blockchain game at the time. After CryptoDozer and DozerBird were featured among the first games on Samsung Electronics’ blockchain wallet. The unique interoperable nature of the two games, a world first, was spotlighted as a successful project at SDC19 (Samsung Developer Conference) held in the U.S. in the same year.
Since then, PlayDapp has shown strong growth potential through its C2C NFT marketplace ‘PlayDapp.com’, which was introduced in 2020. Expanded CryptoDozer to new markets with LINE Blockchain technology, via Google Play Japan in 2021. PlayDapp has also launched ‘PlayDapp Town’ on Metaverse game platform Roblox.
