PlayDapp Signs Partnership with Redbrick
Agreement signed to cooperate and share blockchain expertise and aid metaverse development

[May 16, 2022] Blockchain service platform PlayDapp announced on the 16th of May that it has signed a strategic business partnership with Redbrick (CEO, Yong-Mo Liang) to expand metaverse content and strengthen blockchain integration.
Redbrick is a company with its own “3D MetaWorlds engine” that can implement high-quality graphics on both PCs and mobile devices, supporting an optimal metaverse environment by providing users with low entry barriers to create and play their own metaverse experiences easily.
Through this partnership, PlayDapp plans to cooperate on multiple aspects of the Redbrick metaverse project by applying blockchain technology and expertise. PlayDapp will support NFT implementation, provide NFT marketplace services, and share multi-homing content development and operational knowledge.
“The new digital world of the ‘metaverse’ is rapidly spreading throughout the industry along with the digital transformation movement,” said Sang Chung, Head of Business at PlayDapp. “If PlayDapp’s blockchain technology know-how and Redbrick’s metaverse content are met to create synergy, the two companies will leap forward.”
Yong-Mo Liang, CEO of Redbrick, said, “This collaboration with Redbrick is a process of realizing the land of opportunities for creators that Redbrick has wanted to create.” He also mentioned that “The establishment of a creator economy, which is the core of the Web 3.0 era, will allow Redbrick creators to make money from their creations within the platform.”
PlayDapp is a middleware provider that facilitates user transactions on its own NFT marketplace based on blockchain technology. By incorporating blockchain technology into games and other services, PlayDapp offers multi-homing services that allow user data in various blockchain-based platforms such as games and metaverses to be interoperable. In 2021, PlayDapp showcased the fusion of metaverse and NFT when it launched virtual play space “PlayDapp Land” on the world’s leading metaverse platform “Roblox.” PlayDapp also broadened its reach by collaborating with IPX (formerly Line Friends), Samsung C&T’s Everland, Mom’s Touch, and KB Kookmin Card.
Redbrick has operated its metaverse platform service since 2019 and currently has 120,000 creators, reaching 450,000 content creations built on its platform.
