Hello Knights! We’re back with another guide for Soul Seeker: 6th Knights. In this edition we’ll be looking at some useful R heroes that can fly under the radar because of their R rarity status. Soul Seeker: 6th Knights actually allows lower rarity heroes to shine, especially with the right set-up to support them, and coexist with SR and SSR rarity heroes.

This guide will show you which R heroes to keep an eye out for and why.

Soul Seeker: 6th Knights will be getting a HUGE update on 10/23/2020. Expect a ton of new content including new heroes, PvP modes and more!

R heroes are naturally “weaker” than their SR and SSR counterparts with lower stats. However, raw stat numbers aren’t the be all, end all. The overall mechanics of a hero are much more important and certain R heroes have the skills to make up for this gap in stats.

R heroes also have some advantages, the biggest being that it’s much easier to upgrade their skills due to it being cheaper and easier to obtain dupes and 3-star Skill Beannys. R heroes are also much more accessible to newer players until they can acquire other SSR heroes.

Underrated R Heroes

Kilia’s Light element version is one of the best R heroes in the game. She possesses the skills and passives to keep up with higher rarity heroes and she is very useful as part of a Light team, especially with her powerful buffs to Light teammates. She also provides knockdown and self-buffs in her kit. With enough Evasion boosting she can become a pseudo-tank and lead as a front hero. Kilia is a great choice for new players looking to build a Light team and can remain a part of your team for a good while.

Serene is another Light Bandit hero, who while not quite as good as Killia is still a worthwhile pickup. Her skills allow her to become a self-sustaining offensive presence on the battlefield with the ability to heal from the damage she inflicts, and she can support the rest of her team with her buffs. Serene’s Dark version is also a powerful hero in her own right and slots right into Dark focused teams, at the start of battle allies of the Dark element will have their attack increased by 41% , Dark Serene also recovers HP from attacks when below 50% HP. We recommend equipping a full Death Set on both versions to increase Attack Speed and Evasion, which combined with their healing skills make Serene a massive nuisance for the enemy to get rid of.

Kaial is a Defense Dark and Fire Defense hero with some seriously useful skills and passives. Dark Kaial’s second passive in particular can turn the tide of a battle. It allows him to survive any hit that would have otherwise killed him, and instead he becomes invulnerable to all damage for 5 seconds and can rescue a team from being overwhelmed at a critical moment. He also supports the rest of his team by debuffing opponents who are a different element to him, reducing their Attack at the beginning of a battle by 28%. Kaial’s Fire version has less powerful passives and isn’t as strong overall, but compensates for this by inflicting Knockdown on opponents.

Minne is a Dark Bandit R hero who possesses several skills that boost her Attack and Attack Speed, which allows her to become a self-sufficient offensive powerhouse. Her kit also comes with the ability to Stun her non-Darkness opponents. She’s a great transitional hero for new players until they can attain Dark Fatima, one of the best heroes in the games and a critical part of Dark team compositions, and can even be used with Fatima in an endgame team as they share a powerful Synergy Link.

Angelo is a Wind element Bandit hero who you can find on high-level Wind focused teams in the Arena. He provides a great deal of CC (Crowd Control) in addition to the damage he deals with the ability to stun enemies and knock down non-Wind opponents. Angelo can also boost his own attack by 66% for up to 10 seconds at a time as well. You’ll definitely want to hold on to Angelo if you’re planning to become a Wind player as he shares a powerful Synergy Link with Biccs that increases all Wind heroes’ Attack Speed by 15%

Siera’s R Light version is a useful Ranged hero and is a great alternative for players who don’t possess the Light SSR hero Ceal. Siera is a viable Ranged hero as she is capable of dishing out high amounts of damage, boosting her own Attack Speed and Critical by 30% and being able to inflict Stun on non-Light opponents.

Team chemistry is incredibly important in Soul Seeker: 6th Knights and sometimes the hero that is going to benefit your team the most won’t be the most powerful individually or higher rarity. Look at heroes’ skill descriptions and synergy links to see if they really benefit your team and increase the effectiveness of it. The cliché is that you should never judge a book by its cover and it absolutely applies here.
