Dylan Playfair is keeping busy despite the pandemic! The former hockey player is bringing his skills to the screen for the highly-anticipated Disney+ series, “The Mighty Ducks” — which is currently filming.

Below, Playfair shares a bit about his transition from playing hockey to acting, his role in the upcoming film “Odd Man Rush,” and how owning his own production company has allowed him to expand as a storyteller.

Who are you, and how did you get to where you are today?

Hmm, what a question! How much time do we have? I’ve been obsessed by various pursuits in my life that deserve titles of their own including hockey player, actor, director, writer, entrepreneur, brother, son, production assistant… I do my best to not let my job define me by treating the people in my life with as much respect as possible, and strangers as if they’re friends I have not met yet. I think that has helped get me to the place I’m at today. I’ve been grateful for every opportunity I’ve been given, and I’ve poured my best into those opportunities.

“I knew I would become an actor after hockey.”
