Introducing…🥁🥁🥁…Playfull Challenges!!! We’re super excited to launch this feature as the first of many new competitive features coming soon to Playfull.
Playfull Challenges is a friendly 1v1 competition between two Playfull members where you compete for Playpoints to see who can win their next match in SR, ARAM, or TFT (place in top 4). This competition is based on you winning your own individual games and you don’t have to be playing in the same match to compete. Great way to earn Playpoints while competing with fellow Playfull members!
Challenges require 500 Playpoints to challenge someone, however, as a gift from us to you, your first challenge is absolutely free! 👑
How to Start a Challenge
Step 1: Go to your Activity Page
Step 2: Select the game mode you want to compete in — SR, ARAM, or TFT
Step 3: Use 500 Playpoints to enter into a matchmaking queue that randomly pairs you with another member looking for a challenge! If within 3 minutes you are not paired, you will exit the queue and be refunded your 500 Playpoints.
Step 3: Once paired, to win the challenge you must win your next game in that game mode! You have 2 hours to play the match or you will automatically forfeit. Same goes for your opponent.
Step 4: If you win your match and your opponent lost their match or forfeits you collect 1,000 Playpoints! If you both won your respective matches, you both collect 625 Playpoints! If you both lose or both forfeit your respective matches, you get your 500 Playpoints back and you can try again! 😊

The best thing about Playfull Challenges is that skill level doesn’t matter — anyone can participate! We love that it’s a competition where each member can compete based on their own skill level.

How much does it cost to enter a challenge?
Challenges have a 500 Playpoint entry fee. Your first challenge is on us, we gotchu 😉
How do I win?
You win by winning your next game for the challenge mode! In TFT, placing in the top 4 counts as a win! You need to start your game within two hours of the Challenge start time. If you don’t, you automatically forfeit.
What do I win?
If you win and your opponent also wins, you win 625 Playpoints. If you win and your opponent loses or forfeits, it’s a cool 1,000 Playpoints 😎
How do I enter a challenge from the Playfull Website?
Go to your Activity Page and click on the challenge mode for the challenge you want to enter. You will be matched with another Playfull member for the challenge shortly and your 500 Playpoint fee will be deducted. If it takes longer than three minutes to match, you will be removed from the challenge matchmaking and your entry fee will be refunded.
What happens if my opponent or I don’t finish our game in time?
If you don’t finish your game within two hours of the Challenge start time, you forfeit. If your opponent doesn’t finish their game within two hours of the Challenge start time, they forfeit. Forfeiting counts as a loss! If you both forfeit, you both get your 500 Playpoints back. If you win and opponent forfeits, you win 1,000 Playpoints and vice versa.
