#ProofOfPlay Concept

We introduce #ProofOfPlay to combat online gaming cheaters. A few postings ago we wrote about this here. To test this concept, without you gamers realizing, we have implemented Proof of Play during our Telegram competition.

What we did was we took the Tower Blocks game, incorporate the rules in which your score is produced and validated into a set of moves-chain. With that said, all of your moves becomes an immutable collection of hints in which every move is finally compiled into your final score.

By doing this, we are happy to announce that the trials in the Telegram competition is a success. We applaud the numbers of people playing the game honestly but also the other portion who tried to game the competition. We contacted people who has successfully cheated the game before and to this day, no one has successfully come up with a way to defeat the system.

We are not saying that this is foolproof yet, there are still more work to be done. Such work includes perfecting the algorithm to spit out less false negatives. We also like to expand this to other game types with a much more diverse set of rules.

Taking what we’ve learned now, we are also happy to announce that we are pressing forward and on track to release Proof of Play as a sidechain to our main PXG network. We believe Proof of Play is our way to create a safe and trusted way for gamers to compete in games and win PXG.

As we are nearing our soft launch, we are working hard to let you have fun playing games while also ensuring a safe place to compete. Don’t forget we are number one as a candidate for Indodax Community Coin Voting, you the gamers can ensure PXG is voted. We invite you to vote for our vision and mission, to be the first concept combating cheaters in the blockchain with our Proof of Play for a better gaming world!
