“Menya Dragon Ramen” Director’s Letter & Roadmap

We recognize that “Menya Dragon Ramen” still needs to be improved regarding the way of the game playing and its experience especially, playing and earning cryptocurrency.
Today, we want to show Roadmap of Menya Dragon Ramen and explain the purpose of each feature.
Although it is a little long, we hope you will read it.
■ Roadmap for the coming 6 months

*We will continuously improve and adjust features except for the above features.
■ Mock Battle
Regarding RBA, we are planning to open the Mock Battle where you can practice battle.
Please test your party and skill combination at Mock Battle.
■ Half Year Anniversary
We will hold Menya Dragon Ramen Half Year Anniversary special event and limited login bonus in April as a token of our gratitude for users.
In addition, Half Year Anniversary Limited NFT will be released.
For the detailed information, we will release it at a later date. So, please look forward to releasing the information.
■ Revision of DEAP Reward
This is one of the most requested adjustments for “Menya Dragon Ramen” by users. As we mentioned in the Medium article published on February 24th, currently, Menya Dragon Ramen offers two track of DEP reward: the Work and RBA.
Those features were designed to offer a stable DEAP reward in [Work] as well as targeting a large amount of DEP in RBA.
But in the current DEP rewards system, the RBA accounts for much of rewards and the unique point of “Menya Dragon Ramen” are diminished as the management element has weakened.
Regarding this problem, we understand the need for improvement. In this matter, we need to return to the original goal of “Menya Dragon Ramen, that allows customers to earn cryptocurrency by running a Ramen Store. So, we have decided to revise the specifications and reward design from April to ensure that our users consistently earn a monthly DEP commensurate with the amount they have invested.
We will announce more detailed information in March, but for now we would like to give users a brief overview of the contents.
◇How to play the new Work
The current problems with the reward design are that the DEAP reward is common regardless of the user’s investment amount, and it is difficult to limit the users using the BOT, and these problems make it very difficult to design a balance between the NFT in possession situation and the expected reward amount. In order to solve these problems, we are planning to implement a new Work starting in April. At the new Work, there are “Store Area” will be prepared according to the number of NFT owned, and the Ramen score and reward amount required to obtain reward will change according to the “Store Area”.
◇RBA stance after the Revision of DEAP Reward
In RBA so far, we have assigned Tier according to user’s amount of investment and proficiency for this game, and have made adjustments so that users can compete based on their motivation to train Employees. Through the system, it was intended that users would earn a large reward for winning, and even if they lost, they would earn reward commensurate with their investment, along with Work.
However, users are currently experiencing difficulty winning even with the highest rarity UR, and they need to maintain or enhance their power in the coming Contest. And the situation makes users fatigue and unease.
We are very sorry for our lack of adjustment on this issue.
Then, we are planning to make adjustments in April to deepen the unique and exciting points of “Menya Dragon Ramen”! In that adjustment, the main points are as follows: 1. The enjoyable experience of RBA, such as the joy of trying of trained NFT combination and competing with other users, will be maintained. 2. By adjusting the results of RBA to affect the Work, rather than earning rewards directly from the results of RBA, the main concept of earning DEP will be placed to Work.
Also, Tier Reward will be continued beyond April.
◇About Dungeon balance adjustment
As mentioned above, we plan to make major revisions to the Dungeon balance along with the Work and RBA revisions.
We will notify users of the detail of contents as soon as it is determined.
■ Add Dungeon 6
We are sorry for the delay of the addition of the new dungeon.
We will add Dungeon 6 along with the revision of DEAP Reward on April 1st.
This addition is being implemented along with the Dungeon balance adjustments mentioned above.
■ Skill Hidden Book
Even now, there is skill switching feature by using Succession, but the Succession needs large DEP because it duplicates NFT itself.
The Skill Hidden Book feature will contain items and functions that will allow Employees to acquire skills to give them originality and make them more easily customizable as you like.
We expect the number of them are not so many to maintain game balance soon after implementation. But in the future, we will offer a variety of skills in a variety of place.
Of course, the unique benefits of Succession, such as the creation of specific skills by combining NFT and duplicating the NFT itself, will not be lost. So, users who have already execute Succession or are planning to do it can rest easy.
■ About adjustment of specifications of Scholarship
We confirmed a situation of short-term loaning or borrowing of NFT through the Scholarship system, where one NFT is used by several users.
Also, we have received feedback that DEP is being passed outside of the game, and in return, the players are getting enhancement of their NFT.
About Scholarship system, we have to discuss with Digital Entertainment Asset Pte. Ltd. that manages the PlayMining platform.
For that reason, we are carefully considering specifications and measures against this type of playing game as well as Terms of Service.
■ Enhancement of measures against BOT
Along with the adjustment of specifications of Scholarship, we are also planning to implement Bot detecting and blocking system to protect user’s benefit.
This system will be implemented in a way that does not interfere with game play for existing users.
■ Skill balance adjustment
After the opening of RBA, we have received many feedbacks about skill effect balance of Employees.
About these problems, we will review the contents of skills and make adjustment of them along with taking into account of battle environment from May onward.
Of course, through a careful review to ensure that users who have already purchased the NFT will not loss profit, we will announce the targeted NFT and skills one month before the balance adjustment is applied.
■ Add new feature on RBA
We have received request about it from users.
We are planning to add new feature on RBA to expand the options for playing the RBA and to provide more strategy and to take advantage of features of owning NFT.
This feature will be implemented after confirming the impact on the revision of DEAP reward, so please wait for a while for the detail.
■ Input serial code feature
This feature is used for promotions such as invitation ID, reward giving for both inviting user and invited user, and for promotions using various media.
■ Repeating Dungeon adventure feature
This is also a feature that has been requested by many of users.
We will implement it in June.
■ Lottery
We are planning to implement a Lottery feature that can get various items via Lottery Ticket (it can get in-game).
This feature aims to increase enjoyable and fun place in-game through continuing game playing every day.
We are adjusting and implementing the feature so that it does not become final goal of this game, but only a side benefit of the game.
■ Cooperation factor event
We are planning to implement a new event in around August. It allows all users to cooperate and enjoy together.
We will notify users of the detail of contents as soon as it is determined.

■ Conclusion
We apologize for the frequent specification changes and balance adjustments that had occurred in the six months since the “Menya Dragon Ramen” was released and the three months since the RBA was opened.
We would like to apologize again especially for users who playing the current Work or RBA.
We will continuously adjust accordingly to deliver “Menya Dragon Ramen” unique experience, while prioritizing the establishment of the situation that users can play our game without worry even more than before.
