Pledgecamp Weekly Update. New Week, New Beginnings
As we already mentioned last week, there are plenty of exciting activities coming up in 2019 for Pledgecamp. If you haven’t read our first update of the year, you probably should start by clicking the link above.
From our past experience in crowdfunding, we’ve learned how important the updates are for the success of a single campaign. While Pledgecamp is going to be a much more complex crowdfunding platform with amazing novelty features, we still prefer to treat it like a campaign and post our progress regularly for our community to see.
1. Genesis Group and LD Capital Meetup in Southeast Asia
Our team is going to attend a blockchain meetup hosted by Genesis Group and LD Capital and Thailand and Vietnam.
For four days, we will be socializing with decision makers from innovation/tech/ academic communities, blockchain/crypto community and startups. Our president — Eddie Lee will give a pitch on stage and hold a meet and greet afterward.
Let us know if you are coming all the way there too. We love meeting new people offline.
2. Meet our new hire
New year — new people!
For the past few months, we’ve hired more amazing professionals to join our team. Our newest hire is Nick Frost. He is a former startup founder (StartupList & AngelHack), was the first marketing hire (and longest employee) at Mattermark, and has been working in the crypto industry since 2017. He is observing all marketing activities for Pledgecamp at the high level and help our existing team to move forward.
3. Our upcoming public sale
We are extremely excited to publish more information about our upcoming public sale soon. We will release a separate post about that so make sure you are subscribed to our Medium.
