Responding quickly to Pierce McIntyre and his latest Plethora of Pop writing challenge, the live album that will always “live” for me in recorded history is Three Dog Night’s Captured Live at the Forum, an LP I bought in 1970 with lawn-mowing money for $3.69 at K-Mart not too long after I saw the band live in concert in Birmingham, AL for a mere $4.00 a ticket.
