We saw a fantastique exhibit on Bob Dylan at the Cité de la Musique in Paris in 2012. It ran the gamut from Dylan’s early life and influences to his far-reaching impact on popular music. Including his relationship to Paris.

And leave it to my husband Kevin, a walking encyclopedia of ’60s and ’70s music lore, to find a couple of historical errors right away. I thought he might want to mention them to one of the sincere staff. But he said no. It would seem like fault-finding, and irritatingly American. Of course he was right.

I don’t know what happened to the exhibit after that summer. Hopefully it’s permanent somewhere. Definitely worth seeing if you ever get the chance.
