Diablo III: Eternal Collection Hits the Switch
When Diablo III came out in 2012, it had already amassed a huge following. Still, when Diablo started breaking Amazon presale records and ended up selling 6.5 million copies in the first week, it was a pleasant surprise. 6 years later, Nintendo wants to bring one of the top PC selling games to the Switch.
What It Comes With
Diablo III: Eternal Collection on the switch comes with the game itself, the two expansions that were released (Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer), as well as Zelda themed Switch exclusives. You’ll get a cucco comanion pet, Triforce portrait frame, cosmetic wings, and (our favorite part) you’ll be able to wear Ganondorf’s armor. In addition to all this, players will also be able to play adventure mode, without having to beat the campaign first. You can still play online, but (because it’s the switch, duh) you can also play locally on up to four devices.
How To Preorder
If you’re looking to just get the game, then you can pick it up or digitally download it as of November 2nd. You can order for $59.99 from a variety of places like the Nintendo eShop and Gamestop, as well as several other retailers including Amazon, Target, Best Buy, and Walmart. Nintendo is also releasing a Diablo lll Switch Bundle, which is exclusive to GameStop, for $359.99 (only in the US).
