Deploy a Scaleway server with Ploi.io

To increase the availability of diversity we have added Scaleway.com as supported server provider in Ploi.io.
Scaleway is a cloud server provider with really decent prices, you pay by the hour and they offer a wide variety of servers which makes choosing your server for a specific goal very easy.
Step 1 — Adding your API key to Ploi
First things first, we have to add your API key from Scaleway in order for Ploi to work properly. Log in to Scaleway and press the upper right corner where your name is displayed, it will open up a dropdown and click “Credentials”.
Scroll down to the “Tokens” section, click the green button “Create new token” to create a new token:
This will open up a modal with the API key in this, copy this API key and head over to https://ploi.io.
Visit your profile and go to the “Server providers” tab, you will find the possibility there to add a Scaleway key:
We verify this key straight away with Scaleway to make sure your key is accurate. So if you get a validation error when you add the key, your key might not be correct.
Step 2 — Creating the actual server!
This is the easy part really, press “Servers -> Create server” at the sidebar in Ploi to start setting up your server.
Press the big “Scaleway” button (if this button is not present, it means you have not added the server provider correctly), select your API key in the credentials field and follow the rest of the form to suit your needs:
Then after press “Create server” to let Ploi do the rest, it will take care of everything for you.
Let it run for about 10~20 minutes, this time is needed to setup everything correctly in order for you to spare time in the future. You will also receive some e-mails about this.
Step 3 — Start enjoying Ploi & Scaleway!
Thats it! We’ve setup a server with Ploi in Scaleway. You are now ready to start setting up website and easily manage them.
