ODSC East
Our team was at ODSC East where we had the incredible opportunity to connect with our data science community. We also had two sessions:
- Mingo Sanchez, Plotly Senior Sales Engineer, also led a workshop on how to build interactive data apps with Dash.
- Michael Ragsdale, Vice President of Finance, Strategy, and Analytics, and Andrew Schutte, Senior Data Scientist, from the Kansas City Chiefs data analytics team presented how they implemented Python analytics with Dash Enterprise for their Game-Day App. If you missed their talk, learn more about how the Chiefs use Plotly in their user story!
Thank you to everyone who we had the pleasure of connecting with!
Plotly with Databricks In-Person Meetup
Our local London team hosted a special meetup after the Databricks London Data Intelligence Day. Dave Gibbon and Andy Wisbey led discussions on the full potential of Databricks with Plotly. There were great interactions and we thank everyone who joined us!

Dash Club Hangout
We held our first Dash Club hangout! These hangouts will be monthly sessions where the Plotly Community is invited to hear from data scientists and other data team members. Plotly Community Manager Adam Schroeder chatted with Arne Petter Drageset, who specializes in Dash app development and data engineering at a European energy company.
They chatted about Arne’s career experience that led to his current job working with Plotly and Dash: the challenges he faced, the success stories, and his journey to become the leading Stack Overflow Plotly contributor of all time.
