Roadmap — Present & Future

I wanted to talk about our plans for Plottr real quick.

Where we are now

Right now we’re in the early stages of development, but it’s to the point that we need to get feedback from more people. I’ve been using it in different forms for about a year with some guys from my writing group.

We love it and we wanted to share it with other writers and make it useful for you. Because of that we’re now in public beta. It’s available to download for free and try out. We’re hoping you’ll give us some feedback as you try it.

The future

Eventually Plottr will be a paid desktop app. We’re going to be upfront about that. In order to make it a quality product, we need the monies.

We have a whole roadmap of awesome features that are coming out in the upcoming builds. Right now we’re on version 0.5 and our next build target is 0.6 which should be out in a couple months.

Hopefully we’ll be out of public beta and ready for the big leagues sometime next year. That depends on writers using it. The more bugs we find and the more feedback we get, the better we’ll be able to make it.
