A Dose of Inspiration

“Who are you?”

This question is not the same as answering, “What’s your name?”

It is not limited to what you do, but what your dreams are and how you fulfill them.

Answering this, the Lord has spoken to me through these verses in the book of Matthew, Chapter 5, Verses 14 and 16, “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden, in the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in Heaven.”

This is the sign you have been waiting for. Your purpose is to be a catalyst; you are in this living world to effect a significant change!

How we shine and how we affect others is a big question, but let me share to you this one last verse from Romans 12:8, “If it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.”

As catalysts, we should be driven by passion! We should be able to move others in the midst of the overwhelming situation we, bit-by-bit, indulge in.

Looking back on how God wants us to be like Him; we should be able to extend the love He has given us to inspire others! We were made in His likeness so let us lift up those who feel down, find joy in giving and extending compassion; we should put the effort in leading the way in making a change!

Let us speak up now and stand up for the truth!

Have you been fulfilling these commands of the Lord? If you haven’t, it is never too late to start being the change to the world!
