“What are you most afraid of?” This is probably a difficult question to answer for most of us because we tend to push ourselves hard in living boldly.

To be honest, I am like that.

I will always be like that, but frankly, my heart is filled with anxiety. My mind is clouded with thoughts, and these would make my precious tears pour sometimes.

The very thing that I am afraid of is missing out. Sleeping, to me, is the same as risking being updated; rest became an underrated choice (not even one of the options at times).

We, all, run as fast as we can as if we are being chased. We do not stop; we believe, we cannot stop because once we do, we feel as if we are already far behind.

Even pit stops are a no-no, but let me share to you this Bible verse from the book of Mark, Chapter 6, Verse 31: Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”

Yes, we are in a race, but not with others. Finishing first is not a top priority in this, but having filled our purpose is.

Live at your own pace. No rush, no pressure. Cherish and be grateful for every moment. You are always just a few steps away to the finish line.

“Huminga, magpahinga.”

This is a quick reminder for you to pause and take quick breaks. Keep in mind that we are not alone — we have a Companion who makes it all possible for us; a Companion who sustains us and who cares for us in this journey He has planned ahead of us.
