How to Declare a SharePoint document as Record using Power Automate (Microsoft Flow).

Let’s say you have a document library and you’d like to lock some documents after changing its status. For example, it could be a document library with business plans, when a business plan status is changed to ‘Approved’ it should be locked and no longer available for deleting and changing.

To achieve the goal you can use Declare SharePoint Document as Record action from Plumsail Actions for Power Automate.

Declare SharePoint Document as Record

This Microsoft Flow runs when the status of the business plans is changed, it checks if the status is ‘Approved’ and locks the file.

As a result, the business plan is locked and can’t be changed or deleted.
