Multiple assistants, dotted-line managers, and new dotted-line navigation for SharePoint Org Chart
We received a lot of feedback from our clients regarding adding multiple assistants and dotted-line managers functionality for Plumsail Org Chart.
In response to these requests, Plumsail introduces a new version of Org Chart with the support of those features for SharePoint Online in Office 365 and SharePoint 2019 / 2016 / 2013 On-Premises.
Multiple assistants
Now, Plumsail Org Chart supports two or more assistants for a single employee.

Assistants may be positioned in a different way in other layouts.
Org Chart supports two data sources: SharePoint list and User Profiles. Here you will find instructions on how to configure assistants for each data source:

Multiple dotted-line managers
Besides a single direct (solid line) manager, starting from the version 3.2.3 of Plumsail Org Chart, you can set two, or however many dotted-line managers you need. Here is how to do that:

If a solid line employee has a dotted-line manager, there will be displayed a small button next to the solid line box. It allows you to quickly navigate from the solid box to a dotted-line manager. If the employee has more than one dotted-line manager, you will navigate to the first one specified in the corresponding field.
