Pluot video conferencing for TVs & conference rooms is designed so anyone can set it up. Customer support also is free. You can call us anytime and we’ll walk through the setup with you.

Your Pluot comes with a 7-step Quick Start Guide. We send you all the equipment you need to connect Pluot to your own TV. All cables are color-coded, and the guide walks you through each step.

Your Pluot Package

You can order Pluot at our website. Your order comes with everything you need to upgrade your conference room, including your Pluot box, HD cam, speaker/mic and cables. Read more about what’s in a Pluot order here.

How it Works

The color-coded cables make it simple.

  1. Connect your TV + Pluot. Use the blue cable. Plug one end into Pluot, and the other into an HDMI input on your TV. Note: remember which HDMI input you’re using.
  2. Want 2-TV video conferencing? If you like, Pluot lets you connect a second TV (no worries if you’re on 1 TV). Use the red cable. Same as step 1. Plug one end into Pluot, the other into an HDMI input on TV #2.
  3. Connect your speaker/mic + Pluot. Use the yellow cable. It’s 15’ long, so you can move your mic around your table. Plug one end into Pluot, the other into the speaker/mic.
  4. Ditto camera + Pluot. Place your camera on top of your TV. (The camera base unfolds to fit over the top edge of almost any size TV.) The camera has an attached cable. Just plug that into Pluot.
  5. Pluot + power. Plug the power supply into an outlet. The other end of that power cord connects to Pluot.
  6. Use Ethernet! It’s always faster than Wifi. Plug your ethernet cable into Pluot. That way, it won’t matter if your colleague downloads a thousand kitten videos in the middle of your meeting. Need to use Wifi? We got you. Pluot supports Wifi (other big screen systems don’t). Once you power on your Pluot, the system will walk you through connecting Wifi.
  7. Turn on your TV! Remember your HDMI input on TV1? Go to that HDMI screen on your TV. Turn on Pluot. You got it.

That’s it, you’re done.

Tips for Pluot Speaker/mic Setup

  • Place your speaker/mic on a table in the middle of the room, near whoever is speaking.
  • It’s 6–8 foot range is ideal for small to medium rooms.
  • The speaker/mic’s echo cancellation prevents feedback and rejects background noise.
  • Glass, brick, and concrete look amazing, but make for bad acoustics. The speaker/mic will work better if acoustic panels or softer surfaces are hung.
