We may encounter this situation when I vote for a Facebook ad. I created the ad as always and chose the same ad goal as before. Even the audience is similar and the material is similar. After the ad is published, the ad has been displayed. In the active state, money just cannot be spent. For this situation, we must first guess what caused it, so that we can prescribe the right medicine.

Possible reasons for not spending money:

1. Overlapping audiences

2. The audience is too small

3. The budget is too low

4. The bid is too low

5. Improper selection of conversion events

6. Too much text in material

7, the page is not published

So, how should we deal with these reasons for speculation?

1. Overlapping audiences

Under normal circumstances, a certain overlap of audiences is inevitable, and it is not very influential for delivery. If your ad group has multiple repeats or similar audiences, it will lead to competition between yourself and yourself, which will result in the ads not being put out and displayed, so there is no cost. You might as well try to keep only one set of ads, or turn off the previous group with the same or similar audience, and just copy one set and run.

2. The audience is too small

When you are setting the advertising group, you can see how many people are expected to be reached on the right side of the setting ad group. Try to enlarge the age group, do not distinguish between genders, add words of interest, or add regions, etc., to enlarge the audience. So, how big is this crowd? There is no standard answer, tens of thousands to tens of millions are all possible.

Of course, you can also use ADCostly to search Facebook interests to see the specific audience number

3. The budget is too low

If you set a budget of $5 a day for a day, you can try to increase the budget to $10 or $20. Another way is that you can set the budget to how much you spend in a period of time.

The best way is to quickly adjust the advertising budget by using ADCostly to view the latest Facebook ads cost benchmark.

Of course, in this process you need two Google expansion calculators to quickly calculate your own advertising CPC, CPM, CPA, ROI and Roas.

4. The bid is too low

Bidding is divided into automatic bidding and manual bidding. You can try to bid manually. For example, the system reference bid is $0.1, and the price you can offer is several times higher than this price.

5. Improper selection of conversion events

When we cast conversion ads, we can choose different conversion events, View Content, Add To Cart, Initiate Checkout, Purchase, etc. If you choose Purchase at the beginning without showing, you can try to choose an action that is easier to implement , Such as adding to a shopping cart.

6. Too much text in material

The proportion of material text should generally not exceed 20% of the entire image. This can be tested with the following link:

When the picture shows ok, it proves that there is no problem.

7. The page is not published

The page status becomes Page unpublished. This problem is easy to solve. You just need to go to your facebook page, click on the settings, and change the status directly to Page published.

Next time you encounter a situation where you can’t spend money on Facebook ads, try the above methods.
