What is co-browsing if not the ability to browse the web together with your teammates remotely? The comparison we tend to use frequently here at Plutoview is Google Docs. Think of the way we collaborate using Google Docs — multiple people writing in the same document, editing, and commenting all at the same time. And what is more important, each participant can see the changes in real-time. Google has been on top of figuring out effective remote collaboration. Effectiveness truly depends on both time spent doing the task and the level of access you have to your partner’s creative powers. Getting things done quickly and collaboratively is the motto.

Think about all the other applications and tools that we use for work: developer tools, writing software, photo and video editing solutions, and many more. Imagine if all this software could be made sharable and collaborative just like Google Docs, this would mean a new era for remote collaboration. This would bring remote collaboration as close to what we are used to when working together in the same office, from the same table.

Building a level of real office collaboration that can be integrated into any platform and workspace is our goal here at Plutoview. We believe that the age of downloadable software and single-user software has come to pass. Plutoview makes applications fully virtual and accessible from any browser. We enable multiple people to access the same sessions of their favorite applications at the same time, making these applications feel like Google Docs.

Co-browsing at its core is the ability to surf the internet together with other people. Although, at a higher level it is the ability to use applications like search engines collaboratively. We are working on a library of virtual applications at Plutoview, which could be accessed on-demand from any mainstream device and used by as many participants as necessary. It is clear that co-browsing is not just the ability to browse the web, it is and should be much more than that.
