What’s new?
We understand that cryptocurrencies deserve the same amount of attention as any other payment method, and that convenience represents a real need for our target audience and community.
And we also understand that there is always room for improvement, even when it comes to something as ‘simple’ as shopping. You can always reach more countries, currencies, print better quality cards, add exciting features for existing cards, and more.
This is why, as mentioned in our quick dev update earlier, we are in the final stages of negotiating card issuance with our new payments provider.
The main benefits, greater coverage and accessibility, as well an improved API (our developers are especially thrilled about the last one).
We will be releasing new functionality where you can instantly deposit to your existing bank account using SEPA (available in Europe) through the sale of Ethereum and Bitcoin via the PlutusDEX. The best part? You earn PLU for every deposit as well.
The upcoming version of our app will allow you to initiate SEPA payout from your app to your own nominated Euro bank account for instant withdrawals.
This new feature embraces our company vision to bring the full power of cryptocurrencies directly into your own hands, and so far we haven’t seen it anywhere else except at our own humble start-up.
When is it coming? Direct-to-Bank Payments will be enabled alongside the release of your new and improved Plutus Debit Cards. Stay tuned.
Our devs are tireless in their pursuit of crafting applications that will perform at scale. Here are some recent developments:
- Implementing database fixes from QA
- Integrating IBAN flow
- Planning architecture for new KYC/user flow.
- Testing the iOS App
- Working on an improved implementation of transaction verification and blockchain tracking.

Consensus 2018 in New York exceeded expectations
We had a great time networking, made a lot of new connections, and even saw what is known as every Bitcoiner’s preferred mode of transportation — the lambo.
