Plutus Weekly Report — March 24th 2018
As you may have noticed from our smart new layouts and updates, we are fine-tuning our messaging for a wider audience. With more and more eyes on Plutus, the time has arrived to expand our messaging and make our products and branding engaging even to those outside of the cryptocurrency space. Expect to see the Plutus logo a lot more often in the near future.
There is a long road from start-up to global brand, but here we are, building the bridge between them. Already a few days into live cryptocurrency support (PLU thus far) we’ve had payments for train tickets, groceries, all-you-can-eat buffets, charitable donations, and many more using the Plutus card in London, Vienna, Bratislava, and all across Europe.
At Plutus, we realize that crypto is not only a technology. For many people out there, it is becoming an international lifestyle. As every crypto nomad and trader knows, the most important thing is being able to turn your cryptocurrencies into real value wherever you are.
Whether you are jet setting across the continents, going on the road or just across the street, don’t wait for merchants to wake up to Bitcoin and Ethereum, wield your Plutus card and conquer.
The BETA is in full gear, and we have ramped up invitations from our waiting list to several hundreds users daily. Look out for your personal Tap & Pay download e-mail (like the one pictured below), arriving in your inbox shortly! First off, you’ll have to make sure you are on the waiting list by going to our website (http://plutus.it) and clicking “EARLY ACCESS”.
Attention: Regarding Erroneous Charges & Refunds
Some of our BETA testers have noticed 0.50 EUR charges on their account when their payments have been rejected. This has been a mistake on the side of our payment processor, and the charges will be refunded. Plutus itself does not charge any fees to the EUR/GBP balance. Thank you for your understanding. We are in the process of resolving this now.

- Numerous back-end improvements (incl. fine-tuning) for both Tap & Pay and the PlutusDEX are on the horizon.
- We are currently in talks with international banking associations to discuss terms of mass rollouts.
- Long-term we are planning to expand our services worldwide, adding support for additional countries and fiat currency deposits on PlutusDEX as they become available to us. This will enable us to expand first to North America followed by other regions around the world as well as Asia.
- The first version of the Tap & Pay BETA for iOS is on its way as well and will be released over the next few months.
