Here’s a brief definition of each:
- A product is offered in the market to solve a problem or satisfy a need.
- A program is a collection of interconnected projects aimed at achieving long-term business objectives.
- A project is temporary, with a defined beginning and end, scope, and resources.
Key distinctions include:
- A product is never complete due to evolving user needs.
- A program extends beyond project completion to achieve long-term goals.
- A project is unique and not part of routine operations.
