It establishes your brand, defines your sense of style, highlights your strengths, gives insight about your personality and work ethic, and looks cool!
The process of putting together a portfolio helps you remember important projects and results you had in your career that you might be forgetting. It makes you memorize and remember the different challenges and results you had, and writing your portfolio can help you become more efficient while talking during networking events and during interviews.
When creating a portfolio, it is important to keep in mind the goals and accomplishments that you want to showcase.
