Dear Community!

Cate and I are thrilled to announce that we have been accepted into Creative Destruction Labs’ Blockchain Incubator Stream! The Blockchain Incubator Stream at CDL is a 10-month program which gives blockchain founders personalized mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs, investors and a community of visionaries in the fields of blockchain and artificial intelligence. The CDL is also a founding academic partner of the Libra Association and we are thrilled to be working with the Libra team to integrate Libra into Pngme’s lending platform and mobile app.

The program is a 10-month long program consisting of a 2 week-long bootcamp which we already attended at the end of July as well as 5 in-person, boardroom-style meetings in October, December, February, April, and a final super session in June. The program is highly competitive — of the 50+ companies that attended the bootcamp, only 50% were invited to attend the first session in October. The program organizers expect another 20% to be eliminated after the first session. You will only be considered a graduate of CDL if you are selected to attend the final session in June.

During each of the boardroom-style meetings, companies meet with CDL Mentors to garner feedback and set objectives that hold the Founders accountable for the next meeting. Mentors build a stronger relationship with founders by having continuous touch points and develop a deeper understanding of their businesses — allowing them to provide better strategic guidance. At the end of each meeting, Mentors select companies that they are interested in working closely with during the course of the program. If you are not selected by a Mentor at the end of the meeting, you are not invited to return.

Mentors range from economic experts such as Joshua Gans to successful entrepreneurs and investors such as Anthony Lacavera, Richard Titus, Boris Wertz as well as successful prior graduates of CDL such as Cosmos. We’re really looking forward to incorporating their learnings into our next year of growth.

We’re very pleased that the CDL organizers could see the growth potential of Pngme and we’re excited to get back to Toronto for our next in-person meeting in October!

Cheers,

Brendan & Cate
