Candle & Wind
Dear Medium, when words meet the rhythm of my soul, in quiet moments, poetry emerges as a reflection of inner truth and beauty. Such is the beauty of conversations between a candle and the wind, that mesmerized me to pen them down. ‘Candle & Wind’ is a silent dialogue between two elements of nature; it is a poetic exploration of the universal themes of existence — the interplay of light and darkness, the ephemeral struggle of being and non-being, and the symbiotic relationships that are the essence of our lives.
This poem was born from a moment of my struggle to cope with post-Diwali loneliness. Waching at the candles and inspired by the simple flickering of a candle flame in the breeze, I began to think.
