To this end, in May and June, two groups of Poatekers participated in a week-long boot camp to learn how to better leverage all the capabilities of Adobe Experience Platform. This blog post explains what Adobe Experience Platform is and how it can create value for clients. It also shares a bit about the experience at the bootcamp.

What is Adobe Experience Platform, and how does it create value for clients?

Adobe Experience Platform is a comprehensive customer experience management platform that allows businesses to collect, organize, and activate customer data from various sources. Some of the key features of Adobe Experience Platform are:

  1. Data Collection: Adobe Experience Platform allows businesses to collect data from various sources such as websites, mobile apps, CRM systems, and offline channels. The platform uses Adobe Experience Cloud to collect data in real time and store it in a centralized data repository.

Our experience at the bootcamp

The bootcamp training for Adobe Experience Platform was an exciting and insightful experience for all of us. The first group attended the bootcamp from May 22nd to May 26th, while the second group attended the bootcamp a little bit later, from June 12th to June 16th. Among us were data engineers, software engineers, and project managers, all eager to expand our skills and knowledge in utilizing the Adobe Experience Platform.

The bootcamp started off with an in-depth overview of the Adobe Experience Platform, providing us with a comprehensive understanding of its architecture. We delved into the key components of the platform, such as the Experience Data Model and the Real-Time Customer Profile. We explored the various data ingestion services Adobe Experience Platform leverages to allow organizations to use data from both Adobe and third-party sources. We also learned about the seamless integration between Adobe Experience Cloud Applications and Adobe Experience Platform, which enables us to enhance customer experiences by leveraging these powerful tools together. Throughout the training, we also covered how data governance works in Adobe Experience Platform to ensure the secure and compliant handling of all customer information.

A significant part of the bootcamp revolved around hands-on labs in which we worked on a retail company use case that involved implementing a loyalty program. This program aimed to effectively upsell and cross-sell to existing customers while converting visitors into customers. The practical nature of the labs allowed us to apply our newfound knowledge in a realistic scenario, providing a deeper understanding of the platform’s capabilities.

One of the highlights of the bootcamp was the opportunity to interact and exchange knowledge with our peers from WillowTree and Maark. The diverse backgrounds and experiences of the participants enriched our learning environment, providing different perspectives and insights and allowing us to learn from one another and share valuable industry practices.

By the end of the bootcamp, our groups had developed a solid understanding of Adobe Experience Platform and its various applications. We acquired the skills necessary to help implement innovative and high-quality solutions for our clients. Armed with our newfound expertise, we are now well-positioned to make a significant impact on our Adobe projects and empower the success of our clients by leveraging the power of the Adobe Experience Platform.
