I’m Avinash, Co-Founder, and CEO of PodMiners. I’d like to introduce PodMiners to you’ll and the reason behind the need for the platform.
It’s been more than 6 years that I’m exploring blockchain and cryptocurrencies. I’ve been leading programming teams and providing technical consultations to blockchain-based solutions and ICO projects. I’m the CEO of an IT company that provides custom software solutions.
I believe the idea of developing such a platform must be discussed and implemented a long time ago. There are many other platforms that are doing really well but haven’t made use of any technology to cut down the existing barriers. They have done something which kept the continuation of the industry. The market is waiting for a product which solves their issues and helps them to earn more. We’re here to deliver the project having the capabilities to solve the current industry issues.
As we know, the currency is switching over to the crypto and there’s nothing left much to have cryptocurrency in the option for any purchase or sale. PodMiners is a global digital radio and podcasting platform for podcasters, broadcasters, and independent media publishers. It is the world’s first podcasting platform powered by blockchain technology. The implementation of blockchain technology brings transparency and security which builds trust among the platform users. Fake Analytics- Content creators buy likes, views, subscribers to increase the value of their channel and to attract the advertisers. But when advertisers put their money to advertise on their channel, the results they received aren’t up to the mark.

On-time Payments- The payments from the advertiser to the content creators are sometimes delayed by days or even weeks.
Random Fake Reviews- Fake reviews hurt online reputation. It might be a genuine review from someone who didn’t like the content or out of jealousy by any competitor.
Discoverability- For newbies, it’s hard to catch the attention of advertisers, which ultimately reduces the chances of content monetization.
Micropayments- Small payments including payment for per episode or paying for downloading a single episode are not possible.
For all these problems, blockchain is the solution as it brings transparency to the ecosystem.
Stating about our Vision
Podcasts are booming and becoming the favorite medium of content consumption. But just like every other sector, podcasting, too have some barriers. To cut down these and provide a smooth platform for content creators and consumers along with the advertisers, PodMiners is implementing blockchain technology and introducing the first-ever global digital radio and podcasting platform. PodMiners is actively working to develop new models to make the podcasting, live radio streaming, and ROI on ad spend even better. With the advertisement model, blockchain-based review system, and video streaming model, we believe, PodMiners will stand tall in the podcast industry as the most favorite podcasting platform in the coming years. The platform will utilize a personalized cryptocurrency — POMT (PodMiners Token), for the internal operations.
Understanding the working:
- Register on the PodMiners and you will be redirected to the dashboard.
- You can now create your channel if you love to do a podcast or listen to other podcasts available. Various categories are defined from which you can choose to listen or create your own.
- You can start live streaming with live calling.
- You can upload your pre-recorded podcasts.
- You can share your published episode on social media channels.
- If you have your own website, you can embed the media player there too.
- As we have partnered up with TranslateMe Network, you can translate your show transcript in around 6500 languages.

- Creators can jump on board to start their show. They can live stream or upload a pre-recorded episode.
- Content creators can offer POMT (PodMiners Token) to the audience for sharing their content, remarking their episodes, etc. They can run the contests for the audience and reward the winners with PM Token.
- Live calling during the show.
- Auto-publishing the content across multiple platforms.
- Creators will be able to check the analytics for their published content like tracking the live audience.
- Creators will be able to monetize their content.
- Consumers will get rewards from hosts for performing various activities like sharing the episode or providing feedback for the show.

Future Scope:
People are busy in their lives and don’t have much time to read lengthy articles or watch video content. However, the audio form of content can be consumed easily while an individual is doing his/her daily activities like working out, cooking, driving or relaxing. Easy content consumption plays a major role in the growth of podcasts. However, some problems exist but PodMiners has the potential to eliminate them and make podcasting more smooth. The platform also offers the live streaming feature with live calling and soon many more features will be introduced which are in the queue such as advanced switchboard, analytics, audio recording and editing and more. There is also the advertisement plan which helps the advertisers to run their ads and earn from them. The other benefit for advertisers will be that they might approach the hosts for their product promotion. There are plans to add the document section, images section and much more.
Information about the tokens and ICO:
The ICO private sale will be in the action from 1st September. The hard cap is 30 Million USD. The acceptable currencies for the investment are Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Fiat currency. The number of PodMiners Token (POMT) is 100 Million which will be distributed in various phases. The exchange rate will vary from USD 0.20 to USD 0.50 depending upon the phases.

Procedure of Whitelist
All you need to do is go to the ICO Registration Page, fill the form and complete the registration process. After login, you will see a “KYC” on the dashboard. Fill the form accurately and make sure the ETH address is the only ERC-20. It shouldn’t be any exchange address or any other. This is the wallet you will be using for storing the POMT. In case, the address isn’t ERC-20, then you won’t be able to purchase tokens. The KYC process will last until the ICO ends.
The details must be filled very carefully as I won’t get changed once submitted. If you wish to change something that you have filled in the form, you need to contact at support@podminers.com.
Summarizing the things
I hope you understood the importance to fill the correct ETH address of your wallet and I again request you to check it twice or thrice before submitting as it won’t be changed in any case. In case your information is rejected during the KYC process, an email will be passed offering you another chance to submit the correct and accurate details. Once the process from your end is completed and within 48 hours you didn’t receive any rejection email, like an invalid ETH address, you can consider yourself in the whitelist.
