The Podparlour exists to connect humans around our shared passion for podcasts. Parlour Games are simple: playful attempts to make a game of our listening. They are intended to be fun and to spark joy.

If/when we add new types of Parlour Games, this post will be updated. To start us off, the lone game is a simple one:

Writers will create a playlist of 2–3 seemingly disparate podcast episodes. People in the community will write response posts in which they play the Parlour Game of explaining their own thinking around how the episodes are connected.

All response posts* will be accepted onto the original post page. Top response posts will be invited to be featured in the PodParlour publication.

  • Any response posts that attack other authors, depart from reasonable criticism in any disparaging remarks, or are deemed to fall short of PodParlour’s community standard of Be a Good Person will be hidden on our pages.

We won’t try to make anyone be a good person, but we can choose who gets a seat in the Parlour and we will always choose people trying to be good people.

If you’d like to submit a playlist for Parlour Games consideration, tweet us at @podparlour and we’ll get you set up.
