Smiles painted
Journey of resolution
Over thresholds
A wealth she blatantly
Adapts to self — yet
Pain residue and
Tears unfazed and
Uncried, with smiles
Painted on blank canvas
Returning, she poises
With a fearless stance
And a ruptured grin
As she bows for she is new
With a purpose consequential
