above me hovers death

below me hovers things unknown and

fear it then resides there.

in bated breath and sweet armistice,

clever moon don’t shine for me

this in-between of things i fear, it

may, it hunts, it calls for me

in memories that are steeped in

blood, a tea of fear and jealousy

but this blood at least i know

this blood at least i think

i know.

oh crescent moon with

sapphire lips don’t

shine too darkly in the night

the things i know i hold too

close, the things i wish they’d

know. and things un-sensed are

things unknown but things un-sensed are

the only things i

really know.

for above me hovers death.

but below me hovers things unknown

and i prefer the things i think i know —

for comprehend i think i do but haste it

then betrays me.

poems and thoughts. not meant to be read the way you’d read shakespeare. just meant to be a place for poems. and if any of this makes you feel anything, that’s enough for me.
