Chain Poem
Words: Luxury, Carpet, Exotic, Calculator, Endangered, Bones, Stereotypes
Bones need to work at full throttle,
So I drink water from my bottle
To press buttons on my calculator,
Just as Carole Baskin breeds,
Endangered alligators
Traveling to exotic countries
Makes our family smile,
But it’s a luxury that we should be
Thankful for once in a while
Carpets are here to support our feet
Just as stereotypes are there for us to beat
In an exotic resort
An endangered animal was seen
Enclosed in a bottle by the queen
As she moved the carpet around
More bones were found
In such a luxurious place
She calculated how to race
To get over the stereotypes
Who create such a hype
Joe exotic now in jail
Bottled in because of his own fails
Carpets of green grass filled the fields
Buried beneath the bones of innocence who had no shields
Endangered were those precious creatures
But nothing it meant to the greedy capitalist yields
Luxury was the homes of the keepers
Stereotypes were the men’s on the field
Whose image was tarnished just as wrongdoers
All forgotten and calculated
in a zero-sum game for all our viewers
Watching Joe Exotic all-day
My water bottle is in the way
Endangered animals in this documentary
The bones in there don’t look so friendly
Sitting in this luxurious house
My carpet is shaped like a mouse
In this show, stereotypes are being said
My calculator is already dead
