GONE FOREVER

I imagine the pain felt
By the family of the loved one left
Onlookers mourn but a while
Then all will go down the memory lane
His life on earth was just a stage
And also not yet of age
That death would lay its ugly hand
To snatch a young man from our land
The name not much engraved
May flesh don’t just rot in grave
The clutch of death
Just plucked from earth
Hope while here he made the right choice
That heaven will look down and rejoice
A son ushered to join the fold
What a life with much untold
